In our Irthlingborough practice, Tracey’s team consists of herself, Cheryl, Sally and Lisa. They match the Leicester branch in numbers and in the quality of service that clients experience. It’s thanks to working in small teams that we are able to develop close relationships with you, so we can really understand your visual needs and personal preferences.
Whilst our building has lengthy history, we have gone to every effort to ensure that we are always up to date and operating a modern practice – it’s something we’re really proud of. In September 2017 we underwent a total re-fit giving us a completely new practice designed to give the best possible customer experience.
Our dry eye clinics are here to help you overcome uncomfortable issues with your eyes, and we love to help children with their eye care too. We’re one of the few places in the area that can provide bespoke help with degenerative eye diseases, such as macula degeneration, through the use of special low vision aids. These significantly help your sight and assist you to remain happy and independent in your own home.
Co - Owner and Optometrist
Tracey co-owns Bellamy Eyecare with her husband Alan, and is also our optometrist in the Irthlingborough practice. As well as conducting standard eye tests, Tracey runs our visual stress clinic, and has special interests in myopia control in children and behavioural optometry. In her spare time Tracey likes travelling together with her husband Alan, and they especially enjoy walking and skiing up in the mountains.
Cheryl is our most experienced Optical Assistant and is based at our Irthlingborough branch.
She really enjoys being part of the team at Bellamy Eye care and gets a lot of satisfaction when a patient leaves the practice feeling great in their new eyewear. And they can see better than before!
In her spare time Cheryl likes to keep busy, baking cakes for friends and family, going out for afternoon tea, and watching the Great British Bake Off.
As one of our Optical Assistants, Lisa really enjoys the fact that she gets to meet so many different people working here at Bellamy Eyecare. She spends a lot of time helping customers, or fitting glasses and making sure people leave happy.
In her spare time Lisa is often very busy being a taxi to her children, running them to football and choir! She also likes upcycling furniture and other arts and craft projects after the kids are in bed.
